PINE VALLEY, N.Y. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Ice Hockey fell 10-0 to Elmira in non-conference action on Friday evening. The Dutchmen fall to 2-9 on the season while the Soaring Eagles improve to 8-3-1.

How It Happened
  • In the opening period the Soaring Eagles took advantage of some LVC penalties as two of their foul goals were on the power play as they led 4-0 after one.
  • Special teams continued to be a factor in the second as Elmira scored four more goals, three of them coming shorthanded.
  • Elmira would add a pair of goals in the final frame as LVC fell 10-0.
Inside The Numbers
  • Elmira's Shawn Kennedy led all players with four goals on the night.
  • The Dutchmen were outshot 47-23.
  • Elmira held a 45-21 advantage in faceoffs.
  • The two teams combined for 13 penalties and 37 PIM.

The Dutchmen return to the ice in 2022 when they stay on the road to take on SUNY Brockport on Friday, Jan. 7. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Brockport, N.Y.
