REISTERSTOWN, Md. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Ice Hockey fell 5-2 at Stevenson in UCHC and MAC action on Wednesday evening. LVC falls to 2-7, 1-6 UCHC on the year while the Mustangs improve to 7-2-1, 4-2 UCHC.
How It Happened
- Stevenson didn't wait long to get on the scoreboard as they tallied their first goal just 1:53 into the contest. They would double their lead in the final minutes of the period to take a 2-0 lead over LVC into the first intermission.
- In the second, Stevenson would take advantage of LVC penalties by netting a pair of power-play goals in the first 4:38 of the frame to push their lead to four. Stevenson would add another goal in the third to lead 5-0.
- The Dutchmen would get on the board a pair of times late in the contest with goals from Darion Benchich and Blake Tosto. It was too little too late for the Dutchmen as they would fall 5-2.
Inside The Numbers
- Blake Tosto netted his team-leading sixth goal of the season while Darion Benchich recorded his third tally on the year.
- The two teams combined for 18 penalties and 58 PIM including a pair of game misconduct penalties in the physical matchup.
- Stevenson's Frank Vitucci netted a pair of goals while Ryan Patrick picked up three assists.
- Stevenson held a 40-33 advantage in the faceoff circle.

The Dutchmen return to action this Friday when they host Chatham University in UCHC action. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. in Hersheypark Arena.
