SCRANTON, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Basketball team opened up their 2021-22 season with a resounding 61-35 rout at Marywood on Friday evening. The Dutchmen are 1-0 following the win while the Pacers are 0-1.

How It Happened
  • The Dutchmen started the game hot and never looked back as they opened up the game with an 11-0 run. The Dutchmen would continue to control the first quarter and would cap the dominant opening period with a Cristina Fernandez three-pointer as time expired to push their lead out to 14 after one quarter.
  • LVC continued to dominate at both ends of the floor in the second quarter as they held the Pacers to another period of just single-digit points while also adding ten points of their own as LVC extended their lead to 17 at 29-12 at halftime.
  • The Pacers were unable to get anything going to claw their way back into this one against the Dutchmen as they cruised through the second half maintaining their lead and took the season opener 61-35.
