CARLISLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Men's Basketball team used a 20-0 run in the second half to pick up a come-from-behind 72-64 victory over Dickinson on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen improve to 2-3 on the season while the Red Devils drop to 1-3.

How It Happened
  • In the opening half, the Dutchmen jumped out to an early 10-5 lead, with all 10 points coming from Evin Timochenko and Collin Jones. The Red Devils would respond with an 11-0 run to take s six-point advantage.
  • In a first half full of runs, LVC would rattle off seven straight points in a two-minute stretch to retake the lead at 21-18 with just under eight minutes to go before half. The two teams would trade buckets for tor the final minutes of the half but a three-pointer by Dickinson right before the buzzer would bring the score to 33-31 in favor of LVC at halftime.
  • Dickinson would control the first half of the second stanza as they built up a 10-point lead at 54-44. The Dutchmen would respond in a huge way at this point as they would run off 20 straight points to flip the script and now held a 10-point lead of their own at 64-54.
  • Down the stretch, Zach Tucker would knock down a number of clutch free throws to ice the eight-point victory for the Dutchmen.
Inside The Numbers
  • Evin Timochenko led all scorers with a career-high 21 points for the Dutchmen. He also added nine rebounds.
  • Collin Jones finished with a double-double on 15 points and 10 boards. Zach Tucker added 19 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe.
  • LVC shot 53.3% from the field for the game while the Red Devils hit at just a 33.3% clip.
  • LVC committed 17 turnovers and the Red Devils turned it over 16 times.
  • The Dutchmen finished 21-of-29 from the free throw line while Dickinson was just 6-for-7 at the line.
Who's Next?
The Dutchmen are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to take on Elizabethtown in non-conference action. Tip-off in Elizabethtown, Pa. is slated for 6 p.m.
