ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley Women's Basketball team dominated Penn State Harrisburg and cruised to a 70-30 victory in the Rinso Marquette Tournament championship game on Sunday afternoon. LVC improves to 3-1 on the season while the Lions drop to 2-1.

How It Happened
  • The first quarter was tightly contested despite what the final score says. The two teams would trade buckets throughout and the Dutchmen would hold a slim 13-11 lead after the first.
  • In the second quarter, the Dutchmen dominated as they outscored PSU 20-0 for the quarter. LVC was scoring from all areas on the floor while clamping down the Lions' attack on the other end. The Dutchmen would shoot 8-for-16 from the floor in their 20-point period while the Lions missed all 14 of their shot attempts.
  • The LVC offense wasn't content with just a 20-point quarter as they poured in 27 points out of half time in the third period. The Dutchmen shot 62.5% from the floor in the quarter and would grow their already sizable lead to what looked untouchable.
  • LVC would cruise to the championship victory by a wide margin, 70-30.
Inside The Numbers
  • Kennedy Kuffa posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as she was named the tournament MVP. She also recorded five assists.
  • Kate Fitzpatrick led all scorers with 14 points. Daelyn Stabler also finished in double figures with 11 points for the Dutchmen.
  • The Dutchmen finished the game shooting 45.2% from the field while Harrisburg was held to just 17% shooting.
  • The Lions committed 17 turnovers compared to 11 for the Dutchmen.
