How It Happened
Lucy McGloshen stepped up in crunch time and netted the game-winning score in Lebanon Valley's 2-1 victory over MAC Commonwealth foe York (Pa.) at a rainy Herbert Field on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 16.

With the score tied 1-1 with less than 12 minutes remaining in regulation, McGloshen corralled a well-placed pass from Darrian Berkheimer, drew goalkeeper Cat McCarty towards her, and finessed her shot into the back of the net to give the Flying Dutchmen a lead they wouldn't relinquish with 11:23 left to play.

After a scoreless first half, LVC (6-6-1, 4-1 MAC Commonwealth) got the scoring started early in the second when Kyra Rishell charged a loose ball just outside the Spartan box and fired a laser over the outstretched arms of McCarty and into the top left corner of the net to put the home team ahead in the 55th minute.

The Spartans (8-6, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth) wasted little time tying things up, as Moriah Morton took advantage of a Dutchmen foul and lofted a free kick into the back of the Dutchmen goal to knot things at 1-1 just 1:56 after Rishell's marker.
