ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College Esports' Call of Duty squad posted a perfect 4-0 record in the first four rounds of the Tespa Fall Cold War Tournament on Nov. 23 and Nov. 29, respectively.
In the opening round on Nov. 23, a team of
Bryan Towers,
Ethan Filbert,
Andrew Kierce, and
Chris DeClerico knocked off Cal State Los Angeles 3-0, followed by another 3-0 victory over Whittier College in round two.
On Nov. 29 in the third round, the team recorded their third consecutive shutout win, this time over York University. Then, in the fourth round, Towers, Filbert, Kierce, and DeClerico took down Boise State University 3-1 to finish 4-0 through four rounds.
Rounds five and six are set to take place on December 5 and 6 and if the Flying Dutchmen reach the playoff rounds, those are set for Dec. 12 and 13.
