How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's soccer team dropped their final game of their three-game home stand 4-0 to Haverford College on Saturday afternoon at Herbert Field. The Dutchmen fall to 1-2 on the season while the Fords improve to 2-1.
Haverford would get on the board first at the 23:17 mark in the first half. Leanne Ludwick dribbled the ball down the right wing and would send a perfect cross in front of the net that found the foot of Celia Page who would volley the ball out of the air and into the net for the early 1-0 lead. The Fords would take that lead into halftime.
The Fords began to find some space in the offensive end in the second half scoring a trio of goals in a span of just over eight minutes. Ludwick would score the first off of a cross that would ricochet in the box between multiple players before finding its way into the back of the net. Gabrielle Cipriano would push the LVC deficit to three after capitalizing on a beautiful through-ball from Ludwick. The final blow would come at the 61:37 mark when the ball was battled for in the box by multiple players on either side before Marina Piccolo was able to corral the ball and score. The Dutchmen would fall by that score, 4-0.

LVC will head on the road for the first time this season as they travel to take on Misericordia Wednesday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Dallas, Pa.
