How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's soccer team were held scoreless as they dropped their final home non-conference match of the season by a 1-0 score to Eastern University on Wednesday afternoon. LVC falls to 2-5-1 on the year while the Eagles improve to 4-4-1.

The first half was a defensive struggle for both sides with few shots being taken early on. The Dutchmen created a few promising offensive chances in the first 15 minutes of the game but were unable to finish keeping the game scoreless. In the 19th minute, Eastern would break the scoreless tie. Samuel Sutherland fed Reginald Lloyd the ball about 25 yards out on the left wing and Lloyd had plenty of space to pick his spot and fired a shot off the right post and into the net to give the Eagles the 1-0 lead. The score would remain 1-0 into the halftime break.

In the second half, Sean Quirk kept the Dutchmen within a goal making four key saves in net. LVC was unable to find the back of the net with any of their nine shots in the final 45 minutes and the Dutchmen fell 1-0 to the Eagles.
