ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis team opened the fall portion of its 2019-20 season with a 5-4 loss to York (Pa.) at the Shankroff Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14.
The doubles matches were all close with two of the three matches ending within a two-game margin. The #2 doubles team of
Nicholas Balaci and
Reed Morris picked up the lone doubles victory for the Dutchmen as they won 8-7 and 7-3 in the tiebreak.
The Dutchmen men would split singles play 3-3 with the Spartans.
Reed Morris in #4 singles was victorious (6-1, 6-4).
Ben Hinkley picked up a win at #5 singles by a score of (7-5, 6-4). Luke Senfit won the #6 singles match (6-3, 6-4) to wrap up the day for the Dutchmen.
