ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's tennis squad earned a narrow 5-4 win over Cabrini University on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference men's tennis action. The Dutchmen improved to 6-5, while the Cavaliers dropped to 5-4.
Luke Senft and
Ben Hinkley picked up an 8-3 win in No. 3 doubles over James Humes and Dalton Roberto. In No. 1 doubles,
Blake Martin and
Reed Morris dropped a hard-fought match at 8-5, as did
Elliott Kleckner and
Justin Schuetz in No. 2 doubles action.
In No. 1 singles play, Martin earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory over CJ LaMantia, followed by Schuetz's 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Morris battled Vince Paetow in No. 3 singles and emerged victorious at 4-6, 6-2, 7-5, while
Ben Hinkley took down Roberto 6-0, 6-1.
The Flying Dutchmen jump back into MAC Commonwealth action this Saturday when LVC travels to Reading to battle Albright at 1 p.m.
