Lebanon Valley 8, Alvernia 1
 
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley picked up a key 8-1 MAC Commonwealth victory over Alvernia on Wednesday afternoon in men's tennis action. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 7-5, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth and the Golden Wolves slipped to 5-5, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth.
 
Elliott Kleckner and Justin Schuetz teamed up at No. 2 doubles to defeat Todd Unger and Kevn Angeles 8-4 and Jeffery Bauer and William Harriger edged Jimmy Souder and Darus Sabau in No. 3 singles 8-6 in the pair's first collegiate match.
 
Each one of LVC's singles players earned a victory this afternoon. Blake Martin won a tight 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 match over Michael Brophy in No. 1 singles, followed by Schuetz impressive 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. In No. 3 singles, Reed Morris was victorious by a score of 6-2, 6-1, and Kleckner dominated Unger 6-1, 6-1 in No. 4 singles. Luke Senft earned a 6-3, 6-1 win over Kevn Angeles in No. 5 singles, while Ben Hinkley cruised 6-2, 6-0 in No. 6 singles.
 
The Dutchmen are back in action this Saturday, April 13th, at Hood College at 1 p.m.
