How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Muhlenberg College Mules played a consistent game and outscored the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen 10-2 in non-conference baseball action on Wednesday. The Dutchmen dropped to 9-9, while the Mules jumped to 9-7.
 
Muhlenberg was the first to cross home when Matt Riebesell singled to left field and scored John Serruto. In the second, the Mules added a pair of runs and three more in the third, followed by one in the fourth to take a 7-0 advantage. In the bottom of the fourth, LVC started to find it's groove as Michael Leri doubled to left field. The Dutchmen got on the board later in the inning after Tanner Rock grounded into a double play that allowed Leri to score.
 
The Mule's continued to push and scored three more runs in the top of the sixth and led 10-1. Lebanon Valley scored one more run in the game after Luke Blair doubled to right field, plating Chris DeClerico, but were unable to push any more runs across the board and fell 10-2.
 
Inside the Numbers
- Michael Leri and Chris DeClerico scored a run each.
- Bryan Mowery had a team high of two hits.
- Luke Blair had one hit and one RBI.
- Muhlenberg's Thomas Rodgers led his team's offense with three runs, three hits, and one RBI.
- The Mules outhit the Dutchmen 16-8.

The Dutchmen jump back into MAC Commonwealth action on Friday, March 29th, when LVC hosts Messiah at 3:30 p.m.
