How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley was outscored by the Arcadia Knights 75-62 in Saturday afternoon's MAC Commonwealth men's basketball action after hanging with the conference's No. 1 seed for the majority of the game. The Dutchmen fell to 7-16, 4-10 MAC Commonwealth, while the Knights advanced to 20-3, 14-0 MAC Commonwealth.
LVC and Arcadia were neck and neck for most of the game trading off leads. The Dutchmen were in control for more than half of the second half. With 8:38 left to play, the score was tied at 55-55. The Knights started to pull away after a foul from
AJ Catanzaro and a three-pointer from Arcadia's Evan Slone. Arcadia went on a five-point run making the score 60-55.
Justin Baker narrowed the gap and brought the Dutchmen within three. The Knights went on two more point runs creating a 15-point lead with 0:55 left in the game. The gap ended up being too large for the Dutchmen to come back from and eventually fell 75-62.

Hot Dog Frank Day
This afternoon was LVC's annual Hot Dog Frank Day. The award was established by the LVC administration in 1985 to honor the late Frank Aftosmes (1902-1994) for his many contributions to the Lebanon Valley College athletic program. Aftosmes was an Annville businessman and devoted supporter of LVC athletics whose statue now stands in the College's Peace Garden. Since its establishment in 1985, 35 individuals have been honored for their dedication and loyalty to the LVC Athletics family.
This year, Bob Stull '62 and Nancy Stull '64 were presented with the 2019 Hot Dog Frank Service Award. The couple have attended many athletic events over the years and have supported all LVC teams. Bob played football and baseball here at Lebanon Valley and was inducted into the LVC Athletic Hall of Fame as an individual in 2004 and was also honored as a team member. He serves on reunion committees, the Barnes Memorial Committee, and the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, as well as the Zola Memorial Committee.
Bob and Nancy have taken part in many Days of Philanthropy throughout their lifetime, and are regular attendees at the Hall of Fame dinner, Vickroy Dinner, Scholarship Brunch, Homecoming, Carmean Lunch, and formerly Alumni Weekend.
