How It Happened
GRANTHAM, Pa. – Lebanon Valley dropped a 77-64 contest to the Messiah Falcons on Thursday night's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) men's basketball action. The Dutchmen are now 7-17, 4-11 MAC, and the Falcons advanced to 10-15, 6-10 MAC.
Messiah took an early lead in the first half going on a 10-point run and leading by eight points. With 12:59 to go, the Falcons led by 11 points (17-6). The Dutchmen weren't phased and stayed right along side of the home team. LVC went on a point-run of their own, started off by Jaylen Reicher, Lebanon Valley went on a significant run, and the score was tied at 19-19 with 8:35 remaining in the first half. Messiah regained the lead, but LVC stuck with the Falcons and entered the second half down by three points at 35-32.
Both teams stayed neck and neck for the start of the second half, but Messiah led by as much as 10 points with 8:13 to go in the game after sinking four from beyond the arc. The Falcons went on another point run, creating a 19-point separation, and the gap ended up being too large for the Dutchmen to come back from and Lebanon Valley fell 77-64.

Justin Baker had is second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. He also led the team in steals with three, and he and
Chris Anderson tied with for the most assists with three.

Zach Tucker and
Jeremy Deihm each had 11 points a piece.
- Messiah's EJ Porter had the most points of each team with 25.
- LVC led in points off turnovers (13-11), bench points (18-13), points in the paint (36-34), and fastbreak points (14-5).
- The Dutchmen shot 38.1% from inside the arc and 72.2 percent from the free-throw line.
