How It Happened
BRYN ATHYN, Pa.Brad Viola broke a 0-0 tie midway through the third period and Aidan Richardson shined between the pipes in Lebanon Valley's 1-0 victory over Bryn Athyn on Friday night in non-conference men's ice hockey action. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 3-6-1, while the Lions dropped to 5-3-1.

At the 10:45 mark of the third period, Viola found the back of the net off assists from Zach Balodis and Cole Hepler to give the visiting Dutchmen a huge 1-0 advantage. After the play, Bryn Athyn's Mike Perkett was called for hooking, and LVC got an immediate man-up opportunity. The Dutchmen were unable to take a 2-0 lead on the power play, but Aidan Richardson was up to the task for the remainder of the game, and LVC held on late, as the Lions pulled Chalmers with 1:19 left in the game, and Richardson came up huge with three saves in the final minute to preserve the one-goal victory.
