How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – A pair of goals by Neumann University were enough to down the Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey team by a 2-0 score on Saturday afternoon in Hershey.

After most of the first period was held scoreless by both defenses, Neumann would finally find the back of the net with just under four minutes to go in the first period. Katelyn Brown received a pass from Claudia Trionfo in the slot and was able to find nylon and put the Knights ahead of LVC.

Coming out of the locker rooms in the second period, the Dutchmen were penalized for protocol violation giving Neumann a power play opportunity. Just 45 seconds later, LVC was penalized again for too many players on the ice and faced a stiff test as they were down two skaters for over a minute. The Knights would capitalize on the 5-on-3 situation and Kyleigh Prance would redirect a shot from Mikaylee Henhawk to double the Knights' lead.

LVC would have a pair of power play chances midway through the third period but were unable to get any shots on net during those four minutes with the man-advantage and would fall 2-0 to Neumann.
