How It Happened
REISTERSTOWN, Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey dropped their first MAC contest of the season at the hands of Stevenson University. The Mustangs used three third-period goals to put away the Dutchmen by a 5-0 margin.
Stevenson picked up their first goal at the 7:20 mark of the first period when Nikki Kendrick found the back of net after passes from Allyson Barlow and Ally Gibson. Ashlyn Bray would add another tally with just 35 seconds remaining in the second period as LVC faced a 2-0 deficit headed into the third period.
Gibson notched a goal for the Mustangs in the first minute of the third period to give Stevenson some insurance while Stevenson would pick up a pair of goals late in the third period to officially put the game on ice as LVC fell to the Mustangs.
