How It Happened
OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Lebanon Valley women's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 conference matchup at the hands of the Stevenson Mustangs on Wednesday night. Stevenson scored the lone goal with just 5:43 left in regulation to down the Dutchmen.

The first 45 minutes was a defensive struggle with only 11 shots combined being taken by both teams. LVC led the shots category over the Mustangs 6-5 but neither team could find the back of the net in the first half and the game went into halftime scoreless.

The second half was more of the same with shots coming at a premium for both sides as there were just 10 combined shots taken in the final 45 minutes. The game was still scoreless as the match entered the 85th minute before Stevenson would finally break the tie. Brianna Christie would find the back of the net for the Mustangs with just 5:43 remaining in regulation to put LVC down a goal. The 1-0 score would stand for the remainder of the match and the Dutchmen would fall late 1-0 to the Mustangs.
