How It Happened
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's soccer team were stifled on offense as they fell 3-0 to Susquehanna University in their final non-conference match of the year on Wednesday evening. LVC drops to 3-5 on the season while the River Hawks improve to 7-2-1.

The River Hawks took control of play early on the offensive end as they outshot the Dutchmen 10-3 in the first 45 minutes. Susquehanna was firing early with five shots in the first 11:44 of play and after Madison Carper would just miss a goal by hitting the crossbar for the Dutchmen, Susquehanna would counter and Samantha Chillis would dribble thorough the Dutchmen defense to put the River Hawks up 1-0 in the 15th minute. The score would remain 1-0 going into halftime as the LVC offense could not solve the River Hawk defense as the Dutchmen went the final 22:30 of the first half without a shot.

The second half was a defensive struggle for both teams as neither could find the back of the net for a majority of the half. In the final 6:17 of the game, Gillian Maack and Anna Werner of Susquehanna would each record some insurance goals to put the game out of reach for the Dutchmen as LVC would fall by a 3-0 score.
