How It Happened
READING, Pa. – Lucy McGloshen's strike in the 59th minute lifted Lebanon Valley's women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Albright College in a physical MAC Commonwealth contest on Tuesday evening.
 
In the first half, neither team was able to find the back the net despite each side firing off seven shots. Serena Donmoyer made five saves in the first 45 minutes for LVC while Olivia Donkus responded with four saves of her own as the score remained tied, 0-0, at the break.
 
The second half would be another even one in terms of total shots with the Lions outshooting the Dutchmen six to four in the half. At the 58:49 mark of the second half, Lucy McGloshen would break the scoreless tie with her third goal of the season to put the Dutchmen ahead, 1-0. Neither team would find the net for the remainder of the game, with Donmoyer adding four more saves to her record, and the Dutchmen would top Albright 1-0 to earn their first conference win.

• Lucy McGloshen picked up the game-winning goal, her third tally on the season.
• Serena Donmoyer recorded nine saves, tying her season-high from the season opener against Stevens.
• Albright committed 16 fouls compared to LVC's eight. Albright also received four yellow cards compared to just one for the Dutchmen.

The Dutchmen return to the pitch this Saturday as LVC travels to take on the top-ranked Messiah College Falcons. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Grantham, Pa.
