How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Albright outscored Lebanon Valley 42-23 in the second half en route to a 62-57 comeback-victory over the Dutchmen on Saturday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth men's basketball action. LVC dropped to 6-12, 3-6 MAC Commonwealth, while the Lions advanced to 5-12, 4-5 MAC Commonwealth.

Albright came out with the lead by as much as five in the start of the first half, but LVC soon took control of the game and went on a 22-4 run, spanning several minutes of action, to grab a 13-point advantage at 24-11 with 8:51 left in the first. For the remainder of the first half, the Dutchmen maintained their double-digit lead and took a comfy 34-20 advantage into the second half.

It was truly a tale of two halves this afternoon, as the visitors began their comeback in about five minutes into the second half. With LVC ahead by 10 at 42-32 with 14:59 left after Anderson's layup, the Lions went on a 10-2 run to come to within two points at 44-42 with 12:55 remaining in the game. From there, the Dutchmen increased their lead back to six after Jeremy Deihm's jumper in the paint, but Albright didn't go away and eventually knotted the game at 52-52 with 6:50 to go. Back-and-forth action ensued and at 3:16, Sidney Brown made a layup on the fastbreak after a steal to put the Lions ahead 58-57.
Down the stretch, LVC was unable to generate much offense and couldn't get shots to fall. The Lions were able to run the clock down and Jared Rappoport took advantage of another Dutchmen turnover and scored to put Albright ahead by five with 14 seconds left, and LVC ran out of time and the Lions went on to win by five points.
