How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Lebanon Valley continued its win streak with a 4-1 victory over the Wilkes Colonels on Friday night's women's ice hockey matchup inside Hersheypark Arena. The Dutchmen advanced to 4-12-0, while the Colonels dropped to 0-13-0.

In their first season as a varsity level team, Wilkes held their own against LVC with their seven-player roster. The Dutchmen weren't done, however, and on a power play opportunity, Amy Templeman's shot from the point was tipped by Madison Humes and into the back of the net, giving the home squad a 2-0 advantage. With just over three minutes remaining in the first, the Colonels got one back with a power-play goal, but LVC still held a one-goal lead at 2-1 after one period of play.

LVC extended its lead in the second when Chloe Glass scored off an assist from Jennifer Wilson at the 7:40 mark, and one minute and 24 seconds later, Rachel Havrylkoff made it 4-1 in favor of the Dutchmen off assists from Humes and Madalyn Nelson.
