FROSTBURG, Md. – Lebanon Valley defeated Neumann University 3-2 in each team's opening match of the Frostburg Quad on Friday night. The Dutchmen evened their record and now sit at 7-7, while the Knights dropped to 8-9.
In the fifth and deciding set, LVC founds itself in a 5-0 hole and burned a timeout. Coming out of the break, a Reilly Shelly kill from
Jensen Burnheimer got the Dutchmen on the board at 5-1. After Neumann made it 6-1, LVC went on a crucial 8-0 run to take a 9-6 advantage. In the Dutchmen's significant spurt,
