How It Happened
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Lebanon Valley swept Penn St. Harrisburg 3-0 in non-conference volleyball action on Tuesday night. The Dutchmen improved to 6-7, while the Lions fell to 8-8.
Offensively, LVC's best set came in the opener when the Dutchmen hit .304 as a team and LVC went on to take the first set easily at 25-14.
The Dutchmen's stout defense played well the entire match and in the second set, LVC added 10 more total kills and went on to grab the middle set at 25-16. In the third, the Dutchmen added eight more kills and the defensive put an immense amount of pressure of Harrisburg for the entirety of the match, as LVC went on to win the third set 25-17 to take the match 3-0.
Inside the Numbers

Jess Attieh finished with 12 kills and a .400 hitting percentage. The senior added four total blocks and six digs.

Reily Shelly had eight kills and six digs for the Dutchmen.

Reina Eckman was perfect in kills and went 2-for-2.

Mikiah Sangrey registered four block assists.

Jensen Burnheimer led the way in assists with 28 and finished with eight digs.

Kaitlyn Reed led the Dutchmen with nine digs.
 - For the Lions, Brittany Wolf notched seven kills to lead her squad.
Who's Next?
LVC is set to partake in the Frostburg Quad this Friday and Saturday. The Dutchmen battle Neumann on Friday night at 8 p.m. before taking on No. 24 Christopher Newport on Saturday at 11 a.m. LVC finishes up the quad by playing the hosts at 3 p.m.
