How It Happened
Lebanon Valley was dominant in a 7-0 victory at Hood in the team's MAC Commonwealth opener on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22.

The Flying Dutchmen (4-4) controlled possession for nearly the entire contest, starting with Cecile Kat's goal just 36 seconds into the game and ending with Mikayla Poole's marker off a Kat assist with 7:26 left to play in the second half.

In between those bookending scores, LVC scored five times. Faith Dinger netted her first goal of the season in the third minute to double the Dutchmen advantage before Jenna Lysakowski made it 3-0 with a tally with 14:41 left in the first half.

Lysakowski then got into the assisting act, recording helpers on Lebanon Valley's next two markers. Isabella Vulopas finished off a feed with nine minutes remaining in the first half, giving the Dutchmen a comfortable 4-0 advantage heading into the break, and Kat converted her second goal of the day in the 58th minute.

Kat completed the hat trick with 9:08 left to play thanks to an assist from Mikayla Poole before the duo reversed roles on Poole's tally that capped the game's scoring in the closing minutes.
