How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Lebanon Valley played a tight first period with Stevenson, but eventually fell by a 6-0 score on Saturday night in UCHC and MAC women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen moved to 2-15-2, 1-10-1 UCHC, 1-4-1 MAC, while the Mustangs improved to 10-7-4, 7-3-2 UCHC, 4-0-0 MAC.

In the opening period, LVC killed off a pair of penalties and hung with Stevenson. At 11:18 however, the Mustangs went up 1-0 when Chelsea Blackburn netted an unassisted goal. The Dutchmen's defense limited the damage, and went into the second down by just one goal.

Stevenson then scored four times in the second, three on even strength and one power-play goal, to take a 4-0 lead into the final period. The Dutchmen had some quality opportunities in the third, but two short-handed goals by Stevenson pushed its lead to 6-0 and LVC was unable to dig itself out of the hole.
