How It Happened
UTICA, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision to Utica on Saturday afternoon in UCHC action. The Dutchmen now sit at 2-16-2, 1-11-1 UCHC, while the Pioneers improved to 11-9-2, 6-5-2 UCHC.

In what has become a recurring theme, LVC played a solid opening period this afternoon and allowed just a single goal to Utica in the first when Elizabeth Dohner scored at 15:24. That was the sole goal that the Pioneers were able to push past Jill Moffatt, and the Dutchmen were down by just one after one period of play.

Utica responded with a three-goal second period, and the Pioneers continue to hold LVC off of the scoreboard. Utica then added two more tallies in the third, and the Dutchmen were unable to overcome the deficit.

Inside the Numbers
 - Just two penalties occurred tonight, one for each team.
 - Moffatt finished with 78 saves for the Dutchmen.
 - Utica's Gabrielle Igo made six saves in the win.
 - Nikki Lloyd recorded three shots for LVC.
 - Emma Stillwaggon won 12 faceoffs on the afternoon.
 - The Pioneers were led by Olivia Hirschy who scored a pair of goals.

Who's Next?
LVC and Utica battle again tomorrow at Utica at 2:30 p.m.
