How it Happened
GLENSIDE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley's men's soccer team set the tone early and went on to blank Arcadia in each team's regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon. The Dutchmen ended their regular season with a 10-5-1 overall mark and a 5-2 MACC record, while the Knights' season ended at 5-11-1, 2-6 MACC.
LVC started the game off strong by scoring 10 minutes into the match with
Caleb Cekella burying his shot in the back of the net and notching a score off a
Peter Foerster assist. Then, in the 27th minute of action,
Rob Hanosek netted his team-leading ninth goal of the season. From there,
Sean Quirk and the Dutchmen kept Arcadia off the scoreboard for the remainder of the half and went into halftime with a comfortable two-goal advantage.
In the second half, the Dutchmen continued their control of the game and then in the 56th minute, Anderson Velozwnog found the back of the net off an assist by
Braydon Shuck. LVC continued to lock down the Knights defensively and Quirk didn't allow a goal the rest of the way en route to the Dutchmen's 3-0 shutout-victory.

- Quirk ended with seven saves for his seventh win of the season.
- Hanosek led all Dutchmen with three shots and two on goal.
- Arcadia led the game in corner kicks at 6-3.
- Arcadia also led in shots (13) and shots on goal (7).
Playoff Picture
The Dutchmen have locked up the No. 3 seed in next week's MAC Commonwealth Tournament.
Who's Next?
The Dutchmen travel to Williamsport on Thursday to battle No. 24 Lycoming in the semifinal round of the MAC Commonwealth Championship Tournament. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
