How It Happened
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lebanon Valley dropped a heartbreaker to Lycoming thanks to a Warriors' goal in the 89th minute on Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth men's soccer action. The Dutchmen dropped to 9-5-1, while Lyco improved to 14-2-1.

With just 1:48 left in regulation, it looked like the match was headed for overtime, however Tyler Flood delivered a pass to Jared Moses, who then sent the ball to just outside of the box where Colin Wieand was, and he ripped a ball into the back of the net to break the tie and put the Warriors ahead 1-0. In the final seconds, Kazuya Hirano got a shot off on a last-ditch effort from LVC, but Chris Solecki saved it and Lyco escaped with the narrow win.

The first half featured no goals, but was exciting nonetheless on the defensive end. In the 32nd minute, the Warriors mustered up a good scoring chance thanks to Sainclair Tueno's header, but Sean Quirk made a diving stop to keep the game knotted at 0-0. Later in the first, Riley Katshir sent a header shot towards the net, but it went just high and the teams went into halftime tied at 0-0.
