How It Happened
ASTON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley dropped a 7-0 decision to Neumann University on Friday night in UCHC women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen now sit at 2-10-2, 1-5-1 UCHC, while the Knights hopped to 8-5-2, 6-2-1 UCHC.

Neumann netted two opening-period goals this evening, including one short-handed tally from Jackie Schneider. In the middle period, the Knights added four goals, and added a pair in the third period. Throughout the contest, LVC showed offensive signs of improvement and got off 15 shots, however the Knights' Julia Fair was solid in net and stopped every shot that she faced.

The Dutchmen had four power plays, but were unable to covert. Conversely, Neumann had three up opportunities, but LVC's penalty-kill unit was strong and killed off all three penalties.

Inside the Numbers
 - Nikki Lloyd and Emma Stillwaggon notched three shots on goal apiece.
 - Taylor Borrelli and Chloe Glass added two shots each.
 - Jill Moffatt made 46 stops in net, including 16 in the third period.
 - Neumann held a slight edge in total faceoff wins at 29-24.
 - Glass won 13 faceoffs, while Stillwaggon was awarded 11 wins inside the faceoff circle.

These two squads complete the home-and-home series tomorrow afternoon when Neumann pays a visit to Hersheypark Arena. Puck drop is set for 1 p.m.
