How It Happened
GENEVA, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team fell to William Smith by a 13-0 score on Sunday afternoon in UCHC play. The Dutchmen fell to 2-9-2, 1-4-1 UCHC and the Herons jumped to 10-3-3, 6-0-2 UCHC.
William Smith netted four goals in the opening period despite an impressive 40 saves by
Jill Moffatt. In the second period, the Herons added five more scores and knocked Moffatt out of the game.
Alexa Kanakry made 18 saves in relief of Moffatt in 34:10 of action throughout the second and third period.
LVC was able to get some shots on net, led by
Nikki Lloyd, but were unable to slip any goals past William Smith's Olivia Williams. The Herons went on to net four goals in the third, including a short-handed tally and a score on the power play, as William Smith went on to win 13-0.

 - In 25:50 of action, Moffatt made 46 saves for the Dutchmen.
 - For the Herons, Stephanie Hampton, Jordan Roetzer, and Lindsay Brown each scored twice and each added an assist. Taylor Morash registered four assists.
Who's Next?
UCHC action continues on Friday when LVC travels to take on Neumann at 7 p.m before hosting the Knights next Saturday at 1 p.m.
