How It Happened
GENEVA, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley fell to William Smith by a 6-0 margin on Saturday night in UCHC women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen fell to 2-8-2, 1-3-1 UCHC, while the Herons improved to 9-3-3, 5-0-2 UCHC.
In the opening period, William Smith found the back of the net three times, including two tallies on the power play and the Herons were up 3-0 after one period of action.
Jill Moffatt made 25 saves in the first period.
After neither team was able to score in the second period, William Smith went on to add three more goals in the final period, including another two goals on the power play en route to the 6-0 win. Moffatt was again superb in the second and third periods, making 19 and 28 saves, respectively.
Inside the Numbers
- Moffatt finished with 72 saves for LVC.

Nikki Lloyd recorded a team-high five shots on goal, while
Amy Templeman and
Chloe Glass added two shots apiece.

Emma Stillwaggon won eight faceoffs for the Dutchmen and
Chloe Glass won 10.
- For the Herons, Gina Scibetta scored two goals and Maura Mulligan went for a goal and two assists.
- William Smith's Krista Federow and Rebecca Begley registered three helpers each.
