How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – A big third period led No. 11 SUNY Geneseo to a 6-0 win over Lebanon Valley's men's ice hockey team on Friday night in non-conference action. The Dutchmen dropped to 5-6-1, while the Knights improved to 10-4-1.
Geneseo first got on the board near the end of the first period when Devin Brink found the back of the net, however LVC went into the locker room down by just a goal at 1-0 after one period of action. In the second period, Duggie Lagrone scored a PP-goal for the Knights at 12:09, but the Dutchmen were able to limit the damage and kept it a 2-0 game heading into the third period.
Geneseo scored 1:20 into the third and went on to add three more goals throughout the remainder of the period. LVC was able to rip a few shots on net, but Devin McDonald stopped every shot he faced en route to the Knights' 6-0 win.
Inside the Numbers

Brett Johnson paced the Dutchmen's offense with three shots on net, while
Bobby Wurster,
Felix Takacsi-Nagy, and
TJ Sneath added two shots apiece.
 - Despite taking the loss,
Joel Eisenhower made 40 saves on the evening.
 - Sneath went 5-for-7 from inside the faceoff circle.
 - For Geneseo, Lagrone and Conlan Keenan each recorded a goal and an assist. Mitch Ferguson added a pair of helpers.
 - The Knights held the edge in total faceoff wins at 40-26.

LVC returns to action tomorrow when the Dutchmen take on Brockport at 4 p.m. inside the GIANT Center.
