How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley cruised to its fourth-consecutive win with a dominant 6-1 victory of York (Pa.) on Wednesday afternoon in men's soccer non-conference action. The Dutchmen improved to 6-1-1, while the Spartans dropped to 2-6-1.

Jake Kline got things going early on for LVC when Khup Dal's shot was saved, but Kline was there to clean up and netted the Dutchmen's first goal just 6:28 into the game. York, however, evened the score at 1-1 only three minutes later when Tony Mosqueira served a ball into the box, which was headed into the net by Chris Hobbs to tie things up at 1-1.

In the 25th minute, Kline was at it again when Rob Hanosek sent a pass into the middle of the box and Kline rocketed it into the back of the cage for his second of the game to put the Dutchmen back ahead by one at 2-1. Kline's second tally proved to be the game-winner, but LVC wasn't done.

In the second half (44th minute) Kazuya Hirano used his speed and flew by a defender down the right side of the field and delivered a perfect pass to Kyle Guissanie, and he one-touched it past the Spartans to make it a 3-1 game. Just under seven minutes later, the reigning MAC Commonwealth and ECAC DIII South Offensive Player of the Week, Tyler Skye, took advantage of a York turnover deep in the Spartans' zone and deked a defender and scored to push LVC's lead to three goals at 4-1.

Skye added his second of the game and fifth of the season five minutes later when Cam Avery's kick flicked off Kline's head, creating a breakaway for Skye who found the back of the net, upping the Dutchmen's lead to 5-1. In the 82nd minute, Adam Eidemiller netted his first of the season after ripping a shot from 20 yards out into the back of the net.
