How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley suffered a 3-0 setback at the hands of Elizabethtown on Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's soccer action. The Dutchmen dropped their first contest of the season and now sit at 2-1-2, while the Blue Jays jumped to 3-1-1.

It didn't take long for E-Town to find the back of the net as Kristin Wilkinson's throw-in from the right side created a breakaway and Lydia Lawson was able to score her third of the season just under four minutes into game action to a make it a 1-0 game. Then, at the 17-minute mark, E-Town struck again when Janelle Barna turned a Madison Burnham pass into a goal from the right side, making it 2-0, a score that stuck heading into halftime.

LVC made some more scoring chances in the second, but the Blue Jays' defense front, along with Hailey Parks, nixed every Dutchmen scoring opportunity. E-Town put the game out of reach in the 63rd minute when Lawson score her second of the game off a give-and-go with Shannon Conlon and LVC was never able to recover.
