How It Happened
ANNVILLE, Pa. – After Penn State Harrisburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the fifth, Lebanon Valley came storming back to score the game's final 11 runs and defeat the Lions 11-7 on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action. The Dutchmen improved to 12-11, while PSU Harrisburg dropped to 11-20.

In the bottom of the fifth with LVC down by seven after the Lions scored three in the first, three in the third, and one in the fifth, the Dutchmen began their comeback, beginning with a bases-clearing double by Michael Puglisi to cut the deficit to four at 7-3. After Puglisi scored on a wild pitch to make it 7-4, Colin Albright doubled down the left field line to score Marshall Kiessling and bring LVC to within two at 7-5.

Then, in the bottom of the seventh, LVC took the lead and never looked back, starting with a two-RBI single from Timothy Holdredge to tie it up at 7-7. Bryan Towers followed with a double down the left field line to plate two for LVC's first lead of the day at 9-7. Zac Edwards then added an RBI-single to center to make it a 10-7 game. In the bottom of the eighth, Philip Berry singled through the right side to plate DeClerico and give LVC's pitching staff some breathing room.

Eric Marrero got out of a big jam in the top of the eighth and allowed a hit in the top of the ninth, but otherwise cruised through the inning to clinch the win for the Dutchmen.
