Penn St. (Club) 3, Lebanon Valley 0
How It Happened
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Lebanon Valley fell to Penn St.'s club team 3-0 on Saturday night at the Pegula on Penn St. University's campus. The game was not an NCAA matchup for the Dutchmen, so their record and stats were unaffected by tonight's game.
The first two periods of the game went scoreless, as the Lady Ice Lions out shot LVC 18-9 in the opening period, however the Dutchmen held the advantage in shots on goal in the middle period at 12-4.
Jillian Moffatt got the night off, so
Alexa Kanakry got the start and swapped places with
Victoria Lahey midway through regulation.
1:51 into the final period, Penn St. scored off a rebound and then added another tally just a few minutes later to make it 2-0. The Lady Ice Lions added another goal late for the 3-0 win.
Inside the Numbers
- Kanakry made 20 saves, while Lahey stopped 10 shots.
