How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Jill Moffatt made 77 saves between the pipes, but Lebanon Valley was dropped by Sacred Heart by an 11-0 margin on Friday afternoon in non-conference women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen fell to 2-5-2, while the Pioneers improved to 11-3.

SHU's first tally of the game was a short-handed goal by the Pioneers' leading scorer, Taylor Moreland, who netted her 15th of the season. Later in the first, Lilly Cleary found the back of the net and SHU went into the first intermission with a two-goal advantage.

In the second period, the Pioneers padded their lead with five goals despite Moffatt making 24 saves in the period. The Dutchmen saw a few chances, but were unable to break through and SHU went into the third period with a 7-0 advantage. In the third, Moffatt racked up 28 more saves, but the Pioneers scored four more times en route to the 11-0 win.

Inside the Numbers
 - Moffatt finished with an impressive 77 saves after facing 88 shots.
 - SHU's Devan Kane made five stops to earn the win.
 - Emma Stillwaggon recorded two shots on goal for the Dutchmen.
 - The Pioneers' Lexi Edwards went 15-for-19 from inside the faceoff circle.
 - SHU held the edge in total faceoff wins at 40-25.

Who's Next?
LVC and SHU battle again tomorrow in Hershey at 1:30 p.m in the Dutchmen's final game of the calendar year.
