How It Happened
PITTSTON, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey played King's (Pa.) to a 0-0 tie this afternoon in UCHC and MAC action. The Dutchmen now sit at 2-2-2, 1-0-1 UCHC / 1-0-1 MAC, while the Monarchs now sit at 0-5-1, 0-3-1 UCHC / 0-3-1 MAC.
After LVC defeated King's 4-2 yesterday in Hershey, these two squads completed the home-and-home this afternoon in Pittston where neither team was able to find the back of the net for the entirety of the contest.
Throughout the game, the Dutchmen committed just a pair of penalties, but were able to kill them off and avoid damage.
Jill Moffatt was solid in overtime between the pipes, making three saves, while the Monarchs' Emma Zeveney was impressive as well and stopped three shots in the extra period.
In OT,
Nikki Lloyd,
Taylor Borrelli, and Emma Stillwaggon registered shots, but each was stopped by Zeveney and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
Inside the Numbers
- Moffatt finished with 26 saves for the Dutchmen, while Zeveney stopped 20 shots for King's.
- Stillwaggon, Lloyd, and Chloe Glass each recorded four shots on net, while Borrelli added three.
- Lloyd went 16-for-28 from inside the faceoff circle.
- King's held the edge in total faceoff wins at 40-26.

LVC will enjoy a 13-day break until its next game. The Dutchmen are next in action on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Manhattanville College at 3 p.m.
