How It Happened
READING, Pa. – Lebanon Valley received tallies from three different goal scorers and defeated Albright 3-1 on Saturday night in MAC Commonwealth action. The Dutchmen improved to 7-2-1, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth and the Lions dropped to 2-10-1, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth.

Late in the first half, it seemed the game was going to remain scoreless after one half of action, but LVC drew a foul and Matt Prince let loose a free kick which Riley Katshir headed into the back of the net for his second tally of the season. The Dutchmen's 1-0 advantage held going into halftime.

In the 65th minute, LVC extended its lead when Katshir's deflection led to a Jake Kline shot, and Kline put it home for his fourth of the season, giving the Dutchmen a big 2-0 lead. Just over two minutes later, Albright got on the board when Antonios Araviakis scored off a free-kick deflection to bring the Lions to within one at 2-1.

Later, in the 84th minute, LVC put the game out of reach when Rob Hanosek ripped a shot in the box after Kline's shot for his third goal of the season. The Dutchmen held on for the final six minutes and came away with the 3-1 win.
