How It Happened
Lebanon Valley's offense continued to struggle in a 1-0 road loss to MAC Commonwealth foe Albright on Friday night, Oct. 6.

Through their four outings, the Flying Dutchmen (3-9, 0-3 MAC Commonwealth) have managed just one goal. That inability to put up points reared its ugly head again Friday night, leaving LVC still searching for its first conference victory of the year.

The game's lone goal came late in the first half when the Lions' Amanda Long gathered a rebound that was initially saved by LVC goalkeeper Tori ByDeLey and put her second attempt into the back of the cage. The score came in the contest's 31st minute and gave Albright (5-5, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) the edge heading into halftime.

Maddie Fox got off two good looks after the break, one in the 44th minute and one in the 59 minute, respectively, but Albright goalkeeper Aileen Taylor made the stop on both occasions.

LVC earned a penalty corner in the game's closing moments but the Dutchmen were unable to manufacture a shot with less than 30 seconds left to play.

Inside the Numbers
- LVC managed nine shots on the night, with four coming on goal. The Lions got off 13 shots, 11 of which were on target.
- Albright held the edge in penalty corners 7-4.
- Lebanon Valley is now averaging just 1.5 goals per contest.
- Friday's loss was the fourth shutout suffered by the Dutchmen this fall.
- Cecile Kat got off a team-high three shots for LVC, while Maddie Fox managed two of her own.
- Tori ByDeLey made 10 saves in goal for Lebanon Valley.
- Albright goalkeeper Aileen Taylor made just four saves in earning the win.
