How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Lebanon Valley and Post went to overtime for the second-consecutive night, but this time the Dutchmen fell 4-3 contest to the Eagles on Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen now sit at 0-1-1, while Post improved to 1-2-1.

Post began the overtime period with a flurry of shots on Jill Moffatt, but the sophomore made save after save, keeping the game tied at 3-3. Later however, after Moffatt saved the initial shot, the Eagles' Julia Schatz put home the rebound and Post scored the game-winner with 50 seconds remaining in OT to win the game.

The Eagles got on the board first, just 1:24 into the opening period, when Paige Dundas scored from Sierra Alarid. With just a minute remaining in the period, the Dutchmen evened the score at 1-1 when Rachel Havrylkoff netted her first goal of the season from Nina Pugliese and Alexis Presloid and the game was tied at 1-1 after one period of action.

LVC took the lead just 36 seconds into the second when Amy Templeman netted her first goal as a member of LVC's squad from Taylor Brynteson, and that was the lone tally in the period and the Dutchmen went into the second intermission with a 2-1 advantage.

2:28 into the third, Post's Ann M. Disciscio tied the game yet again with a tally from Kendall Fitzgerland, and six minutes later, the Eagles took the lead back from LVC when Sierra Alarid scored a power-play goal from Disciscio and Dundas. Later in the third, with just under seven minutes to go, Post's Kathleen Takita was called for tripping and the Dutchmen went on the power play. With 13 seconds left on the advantage, Brynteson netted her first collegiate goal from Cassidy Driscoll and Madison Humes, tying the game at 3-3 and sending it into overtime.
