How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – A four-goal second period fueled No. 9 Buffalo St. to a 6-3 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday night in non-conference men's ice hockey action. The Bengals improved to 13-3-1 and the Dutchmen fell to 3-13-2.

3:02 into the first period, Buffalo St. got on the board when Anthony Beaumont found the back of the night, however at 6:59, Cole Hepler evened the score at 1-1 off assists from Bryan Hovanec and Jared Karas. Later, at 12:52 and LVC on the power play, Karas scored from Brad Nolan and Hepler, giving the Dutchmen a 2-1 advantage that they held going into the first intermission.

A big second period from the Bengals eventually put the game nearly out of reach. Buffalo St. scored four in the second, including one of the power play, to take a 5-2 lead heading into the third. The Bengals scored at 5:40 to make it 6-2 and the Dutchmen got one back when Nolan scored from Mike Straub and Joey LaBonte, but Buffalo St. was able to hold on for the 6-3 victory.

Inside the Numbers
 - Hepler had three shots on goal and Hovanec, Straub, LaBonte and Nolan added two shots on goal each.
