How It Happened
Manhattanville College scored five first-period goals en route to a 10-0 win over Lebanon Valley on Tuesday night in women's ice hockey action. The Dutchmen slipped to 2-11, while the Valiants jumped to 7-4.
Manhattanville's three first-period short-handed goals were the story of the opening period. Jennifer Machin, Sarah Sinning, and Nicole Mensi eached scored a goal while LVC was on the power play, and the Valiants added two more goals on even strength for the five goals in the first.
In the second,
Victoria Lahey came in to relieve
Jillian Moffatt and Manhattanville was only able to push one across the line and went into the locker room with a six-goal advantage. The Valiants, however, proved to be too much for the Dutchmen down the stretch and netted four more tallies in the third, resulting in the 10-0 loss for LVC.

MacKenzie Bokina led LVC's offense with four shots on goal and
Liz D'Ginto added another.
 - Moffatt made 17 saves in her lone period of action, while Lahey stopped 50 shots in two periods of play, 27 in the second and 23 in the third.
 - For the Valiants, Sinning finished with two goals and Zoey Pellowitz and Ellis Smith recorded two assists apiece.
 - Tonight's game featured just three penalties, two for Manhattanville and one for LVC.
