How It Happened
No. 10 Montclair State was too much for Lebanon Valley in the team's 4-0 loss on the final day of the Drew Fall Festival on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4.

The Red Hawks (3-0) scored on four of their five total shot attempts, all of which came in the first half, including three times in the game's first seven minutes. Arielle Galgano put Montclair State on the board with a goal just 2:02 into the contest. Kelly Watson doubled the advantage little more than two minutes later and Amber Haslett's first score of the day came at the 6:56 mark.
Haslett added her second marker in the 23rd minute and the Red Hawks took a 4-0 advantage into the break.

The Flying Dutchmen (1-1) got off all four of the shots taken in the second half but only one was on target and it was turned away by MSU goalkeeper Kaitlin Maguire.

It Was Over When…
Amber Haslett scored her second goal of the day with 11:08 remaining in the first half. LVC did its best to weather the Red Hawks' early first-half barrage but the score that made it 4-0 heading into halftime left little in the way of a Dutchmen comeback effort.

Inside the Numbers
- Brittany Fleisher managed LVC's lone shot on goal of the game to go along with another attempt that missed the mark.
- Rachel Gorman and Claire Wickenheiser accounted for the team's third and fourth shots, respectively.
- Lebanon Valley's midfield and defense settled down in the second half, allowing no Red Hawk shots after the break.
- Tori ByDeLey spelled starter Sarah DiMaggio in goal and made the team's only save of the contest.
- Montclair State was awarded eight penalty corners. The Dutchmen managed just two corner attempts.
- Saturday's game was LVC's first against a ranked opponent since facing No. 18 Messiah last October.

Who's Next?
The Dutchmen travel to Juniata on Wednesday night.
