How It Happened
Lebanon Valley blanked Albright 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-19) to earn its eighth-straight victory and their fourth-consecutive MAC Commonwealth win. The Dutchmen jumped to 10-4, 4-0 MACC, while the Lions fell to 2-11, 0-3 MACC.
In the opening set, Albright jumped out to a 7-2 lead, capped off by a kill from Cheyenne Robinett. From there however, LVC rattled off five in a row, including kills from Amanda sides and
Jess Attieh, to tie the set at 7-7. The first remained close with the score 15-14 in favor of the Dutchmen, but LVC scored four in a row to extend their lead to 19-14. LVC went on to take the opening set 25-21, holding off a late Albright surge.
The second set was close early on with the Lions up 10-9. Albright extended its lead to 13-9, but a 10-6 run by LVC tied things up at 19-19. The Lions scored two in a row, however the Dutchmen scored the set's last five points en route to the 25-21 second-set win.
Albright never quit in the match and it played the third set close with LVC. The Dutchmen were up 12-8 in the set but the Lions came to within one with three points in a row to make it 12-11. LVC put Albright away, though, later in the set. Coming out of a timeout down 15-13, six straight points from the Dutchmen made it 21-14 and put the set out of reach. LVC took the final set 25-19 to win the match 3-0.

Greta Weidemoyer led in kills with 15 and she added a team-high 21 assists to go along with nine digs.
