Volleyball Ups Win Streak to 10 After Sweeping MAC Crossover

Lebanon Valley def. Misericordia 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-17)

Lebanon Valley def. FDU-Florham 3-2 (25-20, 25-19, 27-29, 21-25, 15-4)

How It Happened
Lebanon Valley earned victories over Misericordia and FDU-Florham to extend its win streak to 10 matches on Saturday at the MAC Crossover. The Dutchmen's record now sits at 12-4.

Misericordia Match
LVC dropped the first set against the Cougars, however the Dutchmen came back to dominate the rest of the match and won the next three sets. Reina Eckman had eight kills, while Morgan Webb added seven. Mackenzie Walck recorded four blocks and Eckman had three, while Allison Cable registered 18 assists and Nicole Werner finished with 15. Abbey Barnhart dug out 15 balls and Allie Riggins added 10 more.

FDU-Florham Match
LVC's second match of the MAC Crossover was extremely close, but the Dutchmen came out on top after dominating the Devils in the fifth set at 15-4. LVC won the first two sets before Florham came storming back and evened the match at 2-2.

Greta Weidemoyer had 13 kills in the match, while Werner had 28 assists and Barnhart recorded a match-high 24 digs.

Stat of the Day
LVC's 10-match win streak is its longest since the Dutchmen's 14-match win streak back in 2009.

LVC makes the short trip to Elizabethtown to take on the Blue Jays on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
