How It Happened
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Sammy Bost's tally in the 51st minute proved to be all that Lebanon Valley and its defense needed, as the Dutchmen blanked Elizabethtown 1-0 on Saturday night in non-conference women's soccer action. LVC jumped to 4-1, while the Blue Jays fell to 1-5.

In the opening minutes of the second half, Bost got the ball just outside of the box and took a few dribbles into the box and blasted the ball and beat the E-Town goalie to right side off an assist from Meghan Ross for the game's lone mark.

Taylor Reinhold made four saves to earn the shutout and improve her record to 5-1 on the season. The Elizabethtown native made an early save just 10:33 into the contest, but didn't need to make another one until the 48th minute in the second half and again just a minute later, Reinhold made her third save of the night. She and the Dutchmen defense were stout throughout the entire match en route to the shutout victory.

Inside the Numbers
 - LVC edged out the Blue Jays in shots (9-6) and shots on goal (5-4).
 - Bost and Riley Jo Evitts each had three shots and two on goal, while Kirstyn Sokolsky, Teanna Shutt, and Johnna Garbrick each added a shot.
 - E-Town's Hailey Parks made four stops between the pipes for the Blue Jays.

Who's Next?
After going 3-1 in their four-game home stand, the Dutchmen are ready to return to Annville for four consecutive home matches. The first one is Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Summit University of Pa.
