How It Happened
With the score tied at 4-4 after six innings of action, DeSales outscored Lebanon Valley 7-1 in the final three innings to take an 11-5 contest on a chilly and windy Monday afternoon in Annville. The Dutchmen now sit at 5-10, while the Bulldogs improved to 5-6.

DeSales opened up the scoring in the top of the second and put up three runs, however Ross Drawbaugh's RBI-double that scored Greg Orlando in the bottom of the inning cut the deficit to 3-1. In the bottom of the third, Brett Fundell ripped a single up the middle to plate Michael Puglisi to make it a 3-2 contest.

In the top of the fourth, the Bulldogs went back up by two, however a sacrifice fly from both Zach Smith and Drawbaugh in the bottom of the frame tied the game at 4-4, a score that stuck until the top of the seventh. In the seventh, DeSales put up four runs and scored three more in the top of the eighth to put the game out of reach and earn the 11-5 win.

At the Plate
